Louise is specialized in international business law and corporate law. In particular, she has gained significant experience in assisting Canadian and European multinational companies investing in the United States.
In 2008, she was awarded the Averell Harriman Prize for Legal Business in the International Trade Area and in 2009 received the Apex 2009 Award from the Westchester County Association for the excellent results achieved as an international commercial lawyer.
Louise worked as adjunct professor of international commercial law at the Pace University School of Law in White Plains (NY) and attends regularly as a speaker both in the United States and abroad to conferences on international commercial law and foreign investment in the United States. She also collaborates with the New York State Bar Association for the publication of articles dedicated to these subjects and is co-author of the publication "Doing Business in New York State: A Legal Guide for Foreign Companies" for the State of New York State Empire State Development.
She was also President of the World Trade Council for the Westchester County Association and Secretary of the Canadian Society of New York. She is currently a member of the Committee for Internationalization, Franchising and Licensing and Distribution Contracts at the Bar Association of the State of New York.
Louise graduated at the University of Montreal and holds a Master in Corporate Law at the New York University School of Law. She has been admitted to practice in State of New York in 1990 and in Canada in 1974.
