Francesca Basto

Francesca practices in international commercial law and intellectual property law.

From September 2019 to January 2020, she has been awarded with a scholarship offered by the Swiss-European Mobility Program and she spent a semester at the University of Lausanne, where she focused on intellectual property and swiss international private law.

In 2020 she participated in legal clinics in civil and commercial law, organized by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.

Francesca took the Laurea in Giurisprudenza at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 2022, with a dissertation in international trade law, entitled: “COVID-19 Pandemic, Vaccines and WTO law: An Analysis of the Role of Intellectual Property in light of the TRIPs Agreement”.
